It’s a sneak peek!
I know. I know. I keep talking about the revamped website and talking about the revamped website but I haven’t shown you any proof that there is actual real live work going on over here….
I am hoping to have the site live and to be able to send out a link late next week. Until then, here is a sneak peek at some of the new imagery -
I call this one “Get inspired” – one of the categories on the site will be photo’s with inspirational quotes worked into the design. You know the kind of quotes that help you find your purpose and your passion and remind you why you get up in the morning? Yea – those quotes. This image is going to be worked in to an ad for Amakua Market that links to these photos.

This one I like to call “Non-conformity” – another category on the site is going to be “Get Conscious”. This area will have imagery and text that talks to issues that need our attention. From Epilepsy Awareness to Conservation to Equality to…. This is going to be the VOICE of the site where we help people embrace causes that are important to them and provide art they can hang that will help drive awareness.

This one doesn’t have a name yet. – I’m not even sure what I’m going to do with it but I sure do love it. I might save it for an ad or it might end up attached to the “About Us” language where I give newcomers a quick synopsis of who we are and what we are trying to do at Amakua Market.

Did I hear you ask what am I going to say? How I am going to introduce us in a few short words to help people understand what we are trying to do… Well here is the text:
“About us - At Amakua Market we have art to decorate your walls, to feed your spirit and to celebrate your lifestyle.
We give 10% of our profits to charity and social causes. In 2011 we are focusing on Epilepsy Research and Awareness.
Don’t conform. Get inspired.”
WELL? What do you think? The overall look and feel I was going for was peace and inspiration. Do you think these images convey that? Let me know in the comments!
PS – If you are looking for a fantastic photographer – my friend over at Raven Red Photography took the above three photos. She does great work and the underwater photo session was oh so much fun!

Looks great so far!
