Happy Meditation Monday Y’all – I’ve had so much other stuff to write about, I haven’t added anything to this series in quite some time. But with the Divorce and Bradyn’s upcoming surgery (2/24 y’all), I am STRESSED so I thought it might be time to get back in my meditation habit and the best way to ensure I do it is to write about it cuz you guys are awesome about holding me accountable. (Thanks for that)

The title of this weeks meditation is “shower power”. This was one of those easy one’s that I didn’t even really have to think about. I love a good shower! I love the hot water on my head, I love the thought of the water washing away the stress and worry – just like I love a rain storm and knowing that the hard rain is washing away the dirt and the grime of the city and when its over everything is all shiny and new. Or at least it feels that way, even if just for a minute.

The book tells us to stop and think while we are in the shower. To pay attention to the heat of the water and the way it feels when it hits your skin. To imagine the water taking all of your stress and frustration with it as it runs down your body and goes down the drain. Make a mental note of how great you feel during and after your shower and draw on that feeling for the rest of the day.
