My messy ass house
To give you an indication of how bad I’ve been at the household duties lately ~ Bradyn GASPED with GLEE this morning when he found out we have milk.
More often than I’d like to admit this house is “toss your apple core on the carpet and pop open another Colt 45″ dirty. And cleaning it well cleaning it means I’d have to not do one of the hundred other things on my list…
Which is why, when my friend Statia over at Failure to Nap issued a challenge in her blog post Fantasy Vs. Reality. I thought “this bitch wants to get cut”. Her challenge was around the fact that a lot of bloggers only talk about the polished side of their life in order to remain attractive to readers, vendors and advertisers. She practically DARED me to let it all hang out. Yes Statia – as you suspected, I am physically incapable of ignoring a dare. It only took me so long to get back to you because of the need for the “clean pictures”. Luckily, I think that means you don’t have to shank me…
Drumroll please….
How I’d like the kitchen to look -
How the kitchen might just look *cough* right now…
B’s room how I’d like it to look -
B’s room how it probably looks -
My room how I’d like it to look -
What it might look like -
What I’d like the living room to look like -
What it probably looks like -
And Bradyn’s playroom -
Seriously? You’re looking for another picture? You think I clean the playroom ever?!?
So if you had any lingering questions about the divorce and how anyone could possible let a gem like me get away. I’m betting this post helped you work through those questions.
And – G’nite

I love it. We recently moved the playroom to our basement, just so I wouldn’t have to look at the mess. It gets cleaned up just often enough for me to vacuum. Which is about once a month. Maybe less.
So awesome! But your “messy” looks like my “decent” and I’m kinda jealous. =) Enjoyed reading it!
