Dear Ferg_e  - Shouldn’t sex be fun and exciting? I mean, really, shouldn’t it be? Then why do I always get the boring ones in bed? How can I show them that I’m a HO in the sheets and a lady in streets without coming out and saying it?

Dear Bored – Yes, if you’re having sex with the right person it should absolutely be fun and exciting. I get questions like this one pretty regularly and you are not the only person struggling with this. I think generally speaking we are our own worst enemy when it comes to this. First of all don’t settle. Take your time and hang out prior to getting busy. 90% of boring in bed potential will show itself outside of the bedroom if you take a minute and get to know your potential partner. If all signs are a go and you still end up in the bedroom with boring then take charge of the situation. Lead by example, move hands and put them where you want them…. Most people just want to do a good job and make sure everyone leaves happy. I polled a few friends about their best sexual experiences and all of them had some version of the same story about having sex with a confident partner that wasn’t afraid to tell them or show them what they wanted. So don’t be shy, your already naked, make the most of the situation.
